What this notice covers.

This notice describes the current Startup Costs demonstration at ideas-by-state-demo.pages.dev. It covers the site’s own pages and browser tools, not external websites opened through source or agency links. Updated September 6, 2026.

Website requests and hosting.

Opening a page sends an ordinary web request to the website host, Cloudflare Pages. Request information can include the network address, requested URL and browser information needed for delivery and security. The project has not established a separate host-log retention schedule, so no specific deletion period is promised here.

The current served site does not include advertising tags, third-party analytics scripts or customer accounts. Financial model offers use Shopify scripts and checkout, as described below. No optional tracking feature is configured in the project. The host can use delivery and security features under its own practices; Cloudflare describes its cookie features here. This notice does not claim that every hosting feature or external website is cookie-free.

Calculator inputs and saved files.

Calculator arithmetic runs in your browser. Changing a scenario does not send its inputs to a calculation server. Scenario JSON and cash-schedule CSV files are assembled locally and downloaded when you request them. The current code does not automatically save calculator values to an account, local storage or a server.

A downloaded file remains wherever your browser saves it. It can contain your scenario assumptions, so consider its contents before sharing it. Reloading or leaving the page may reset unsaved inputs.

Contact drafts and email.

The correction form prepares text locally. Copying a message places it on your clipboard; downloading it creates a local text file. Neither operation submits a support request. “Open email draft” addresses your message to [email protected] in your email application; you choose whether to send it there.

If you send an email, your email address, message and any attachments are processed by the sending and receiving email services. Creating a draft on this site does not confirm that an email has been sent or received. Do not include passwords, payment details, identity documents or confidential client data.

External sources.

Source and agency links take you to other providers. Their own privacy and retention practices apply. The site links to evidence so you can inspect it; it does not control those providers or receive an application submitted to them.

Describe the site feature and information involved. The contact page provides a locally prepared message. Material changes to site features require an updated notice before those features are represented as covered here.

Financial model checkout

Financial model offers use Shopify checkout. Pages with an embedded buy button load Shopify scripts to retrieve product details and prepare checkout. Shopify may process connection information, page views and purchase interactions under its privacy practices. The seller provides the final price, tax and purchase terms at checkout. Calculator settings and local research are not automatically transferred into the purchased workbook.
