Contact and corrections

Prepare an actionable question or evidence-based correction and use the configured contact channel.

The receiving channel.

For site support, policy questions and research corrections, email [email protected]. Include the page URL and enough detail to identify the question or claim.

Publisher identification is not yet supplied for this demonstration. Startup Costs is the site name, not a verified legal or individual publisher identity. Public launch readiness requires a named responsible publisher and a working correction channel.

What makes a correction actionable.

  1. Identify the exact page and claim

Include the page URL, heading or table row, quoted value and the date you viewed it. A screenshot can help your own record, but a specific text claim and source are easier to verify.

  2. Show the supporting evidence

Provide an official source or scoped observation, its geography, period and units. Explain whether the issue is an incorrect fact, a calculation, an outdated source, unclear language or a technical problem.

  3. Describe the requested change

State what you believe should change and why. Do not include account passwords, identity documents, payment details, confidential client records or private business files.

Prepare your message.

This form prepares a message in your browser. It does not submit it to a server.

How a correction should be handled.

A factual change requires checking the evidence against the published claim. A material input change also requires recalculation of dependent profiles, comparisons and downloads. A wording change does not change the date of the underlying source.

The site does not claim that a message has been received, assigned or resolved until a real receiving channel and review process establish that fact. The editorial policy describes the required evidence and review standards.
